About our Meetings...
Monthly AAG Meetings
The Aurora Artists Guild meets at The Garden Plaza, 14221 East Evans Avenue, Aurora, CO 80044.
AAG Meetings are held on the Second Monday of the month. at 1:00 PM. (with the exception of July and December)
If a holiday falls on that Monday, the meeting will be held on the third Monday.
Each meeting consists of a business meeting, show and tell, and a demonstration talk re-lating to some facet of art and or photography by a Professional.
Show and Tell
Members are encouraged to bring 1 or 2 pieces of artwork to meetings for the purpose of exhibiting work to the Guild.
The work may be exhibited for general display, or at the artist’s discretion, may be critiqued by Guild mem-bers.
In-House Critiques
Several times a year, instead of a demo or talk, a critique and in-house show is the subject of the Guild meeting.
A professional artist is brought in to do the critique.
Depending on the number of members present and the number of pieces of artwork, only one piece of artwork can be critiqued from each artist.
