Welcome to the Aurora Artists Guild Website
Andi Sahlen Linda Wilcox

2008 Co-President's welcome you to the AAG website. Please look around to learn more about the Aurora Artists Guild.
The Aurora Artists Guild, originally called the Aurora Art Club, was founded in 1960. Its purpose is to encourage, educate and promote the fine arts, including fine art photography, in its monthly meetings, as well as provide a variety of venues for its members to show their artwork. Past venues have included the Buell Theatre, the Colorado Wildlife Experience, the City and County of Denver, and Colorado Department Of Transportation along with Chez Artiste, Stella’s Coffee House, and Goodfriends.
The primary show for AAG is the Gateway to the Rockies Art Exhibit, held each October. Over 200 pieces of 2-D art, photography and miniatures are exhibited. The Gateway Show is co-sponsored by the City of Aurora, Colorado Cultural Services Division and the Aurora History Museum.
AAG meets at the Garden Terrace Center, 1600 S. Potomac, Aurora, CO, on the first Monday of the month at 7 pm (except July & December). Demonstrations or critiques are included as part of the meeting. Membership to AAG is $25/year, and a membership form is included in the AAG newsletter. You may download a copy of the newsletter in Adobe pdf format from the AAG Palette Patter Newsletter menu choice above.
Please join us at our next meeting!
